Course overview
Learn how to analyse your students’ assessment data. Explore advanced features including analysis grids, tracking grids, Key Stage 4 analysis resources which enable you to use SIMS Analysis as a tool to improve student attainment.
The KS4 resources in SIMS are based on the latest information supplied by the DfE in relation to Attainment/Progress 8 Measure. Not suitable for Welsh schools – please book on the Assessment - Analysis Wales - Secondary course.
It is recommended that you complete the Assessment - Getting Started course prior to this course.
NOTE: We have recently updated our course names to better support our customers in finding the course they need, the course content has not changed only the name has been updated. This course was previously titled Analysing Assessment Data at Key Stage 3 and 4.

• Using the Assessment Mapping Tool for internal assessment
• Generating the KS4 Discover graphs.
Who is it for?
Previous experience of SIMS Assessment and/or attendance on an Assessment - Getting Started course is required. An understanding of your school's assessment policy and analysis/tracking needs would be useful.
