This one day course explores the functionality of SEN in SIMS to enable the effective and efficient use in relation to the SEND Code of Practice. This course is also suitable for schools in Wales as it includes ALN.

The course concentrates on the data that can be used to monitor and ultimately improve pupil attendance and achievement. This assumes that if a pupil is not attending school they will be at a considerable disadvantage.

This course covers the initial planning and preparation for these exams, creating basedata, managing candidates, making entries and arranging seating. It also explores links to SIMS Assessment.

Examinations Organiser supports all aspects of managing external examinations. This course covers reviewing the setup of the software, importing and structuring basedata, creating and submitting files for entries, coursework marks, managing and seating candidates.

This course covers the maintenance and management of staff personal, professional and contractual data. There will be a focus on data collected by the School Workforce Census. This course is not suitable for delegates from an independent school.
